FORGE Project Consortium Meet in Belgium

Representatives from the FORGE project consortium met in Ghent, Belgium on 27-28 October 2022.

This was the second physical meeting of the project partners on this EU H2020-funded project focused on the development of novel and cost-effective coatings for high-energy processing applications.

The meeting took place at the campus of project partners, OnderzoeksCentrum voor de Aanwending van Staal (OCAS).

Consortium members from organisations including the Materials Innovation Centre (MatIC), TWI Ltd, MBN Nanomaterialia, CIMSA, Tailorlux integrity solutions (Tailorlux), EMPA, ASAS, Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH (MPIE), ITC-AICE, Fraunhofer Center for High Temperature Materials and Design (Fraunhofer), Aeonx, and Technovative Solutions (TVS) were all in attendance for the meeting.

The two days saw fruitful discussions held related to the progress of different work packages, the framework of a strategic plan to deliver outcomes on time, IPR and further dissemination plans.
