FORGE Project Partners Announce Thesis Competition

FORGE project partners, the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) have announced their latest powder metallurgy thesis competition.

The competition, which is open at both Masters and Doctorate levels, has been running every two years since 1994 and annually since 2016 – with this years’ competition being sponsored by HILTI.

The competition is held to develop interest in and promote powder metallurgy to young scientists at European academic institutions as well as to encourage powder metallurgy research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Open to all graduates from European universities who have a thesis officially approved or accepted by their teaching establishment during the previous three years, this years’ competition offers prizes sponsored by sponsored by HILTI.

Entries, which must be classified under the topic of powder metallurgy, will be judged by an international panel of experts from academia and industry.

Winners will receive prizes of €500 at Maters level and €1,000 at Doctorate level as well as complimentary registration to the Euro PM2023 Congress and Exhibition courtesy of EPMA.
